Our philosophy: To provide natural products made with integrity and female ingenuity, which are also inspired by the values of a more simple time. Our company endeavors to create products created from "old worlde" organic knowledge and time honored artisan traditions with herbs, spices and flowers from across the globe, and with an eco-friendly, fun, and scentful kick!
We have deep respect for the plant kingdom and the virtues of hand-blended products. All soaps contain absolutely no animal fats, toxic chemicals, and are never tested on animals. Ours is a company with an environmental conscience and belief in Mother Nature's own farmacy.

What makes our soaps different? They are extremely unique. Why? Because, ingredient wise, commercial soapers can't compete in quality with artisan soaps. Then there is the blending of diverse individual scents, specific spices, and attars* to create olfactory blends. Such blending includes our own unique and proprietary soap "soup". Each and every soap is made with a different variety of herbs, spices, roots, leaves-petals, and oils, and each blend we create is done by by hand as our initial base, then we build upon that base by diffusing ingredients such as: Saffron threads, Orris Root, or perhaps Rose Petals as one example. Then to that base we might imbibe Vetiver, Honey and or just a soliflore of goat's milk and Orangeblossoms to create another scent layer. We carry soaps for both gentlemen and ladies. One soap for men we carry is a soapy elixir with Vanilla, Tonka Bean, and a tweak of Sandalwood for anchoring - so yummy! Customers have called it nothing less than perfume blending in a soap bar!
*Attar: A true attar is perfume oil made from flower petals, herbs, woods, etc. in a base of Sandalwood oil.
Our Natural Soaps: Made with essential oils, herbs, petals, and natural colorants.
Our Fragrance Oil Soaps: Made with the same ingredients as our Natural Soaps, but with both fragrance oils and essential oils, or only fragrance oils.
The proprietress of Illuminelle has been soapmaking since 2002, and is an independent Reiki Practitioner involved in Energy Healing Therapies (meditation, crystal therapy, color therapy, color breathwork, chakra balancing, and aromatherapy) since 2005.
